Situated on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead within the nearby popular industrial estate, Cormar Carpets’ new distribution centre opens the door to service customers across East Anglia and the South East of England. The new 130,000 sq. ft facility is situated with direct access to the M1 and M25, allowing Cormar Carpets to reach over 45 million people within a four-and-a-half-hour drive time.
The building project, spanning across 2 years, has only recently come to fruition – turning the massive warehouse (equivalent to 46 full sized tennis courts) into a fully operational, modern carpet distribution facility.
Our Design Proposal
Contact Security welcomed the challenge to put together a design proposal for the new warehouse, including a holistic approach to Cormar Carpets’ fire prevention and electronic security measures. After a thorough site survey and discussion with the project management, we were glad to be accepted as their primary fire and security consultant.
