Offering independent schooling for those aged between 4 to 18 years, Cokethorpe School is based near Witney in West Oxfordshire. The school is one-of-a-kind for Oxfordshire for providing education to boys and girls at junior, senior and sixth form levels all from the same site.
First established in 1957, the school is located in 150 acres of land and now has over 600 pupils. The premises in which the school now uses was originally the home of the first Viscount Harcourt; however, in 1957 it was let out to the school, and finally purchased by the school trustees in 1963.
